Channel Tools

/say and /nuke — two direct channel-management commands.

Send a message as Lumière

/say message channel attachment

Sends a message through Lumière into any channel you choose (defaults to the current channel if you don't specify one). You can attach a file too. Requires Administrator.

This is useful for official announcements you want to come from the bot rather than a personal account, or for posting formatted content a regular message wouldn't support as cleanly.

Nuke a channel

/nuke

Clones the current channel — same name, position, permissions, and settings — deletes the original, and puts the clone in its place. The end result looks identical, but every message in it is gone.

This is the fastest way to fully clear a channel's history when a targeted /purge isn't enough (Discord doesn't allow bulk-deleting messages older than 14 days, so nuking is the workaround for very old message backlogs). Requires Manage Channels.

/nuke is irreversible. Every message, thread, and pinned item in the channel is permanently gone once it runs. There's no dry-run or preview mode for this one — double check you're in the right channel before running it.
