Cases

Every ban, kick, mute, warn, and strike in Lumière automatically creates a case. Cases are your server's permanent moderation record — searchable by user, action type, or status.

View a case

/case info case_id

Leave case_id empty to see your most recently created case. No special permission required to view a case's basic info, though sensitive details may be limited depending on your role.

List cases

/case list user action state

All filters are optional:

• user — only show cases involving this member.
• action — filter by type: Ban, Kick, Mute, Warn, or Strike.
• state — Open or Closed.

Run it with no filters to see every case in your server.

Delete a case

/case delete case_id all

Deletes a single case by ID, or set all to True to wipe every case in your server. This is permanent. Requires Administrator.

Why cases matter

Cases are what powers /history — a member's full moderation history is just the list of every case attached to them. Keeping cases intact (rather than deleting them) gives your mod team a complete, honest record over time.
