How to invite Lumière to your server and what permissions it needs.

Invite Lumière
You can invite Lumière to your server from lumierelabs.xyz. You'll need the Manage Server permission on the Discord server you're adding it to.
Permissions Lumière needs
Lumière uses a wide range of Discord features — moderation, roles, voice channels, message management, and more — so it asks for a broad permission set on invite. This is normal for a bot with this many features, but here's what the major permission groups are actually used for:

| Manage Webhooks | Logging channels and mod-log setup |
| Connect / Move Members (Voice) | Voice channel management commands |
If you ever revoke a permission Lumière needs for a specific feature, that feature will simply fail with a clear error instead of silently breaking — see Troubleshooting if that happens.
Role position matters
Discord bots can only manage roles and members below their own role in your server's role list. After inviting Lumière, drag its role near the top of your role hierarchy — above any role you want it to assign, remove, or moderate. This is the single most common setup mistake.
