By inviting or using Lumière Bot in your Discord server, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you disagree, do not use the Bot.

1. Scope of Service

Lumière Bot is a multifunctional Discord bot providing:

• Not error-free — Bugs and issues may occur despite our best efforts
• Not guaranteed available — Service may be interrupted for maintenance or technical issues
• Not a substitute for human judgment — The Bot assists but doesn't replace responsible server management
• Not responsible for user actions — Server owners and users are responsible for their own conduct

The Bot is provided "as-is" and may be updated, modified, or discontinued at our discretion.

2. User Responsibilities

• You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) per Discord's Terms of Service
• Users under 18 must have parental or guardian permission
• Server owners must have authority to bind their server and members to these Terms

7. Changes to These Terms

How We Update

Terms may be modified at any time and become effective:

• Immediately for minor updates (typos, clarifications)
• After 7 days' notice for material changes (new restrictions, liability changes)

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Major changes will be announced through our support server.

Bot Updates

Regular updates may:

• Add, modify, or remove features
• Change command syntax or behavior
• Alter data practices (reflected in updated Privacy Policy)
• Introduce new requirements

Additional Terms

Intellectual Property

Lumière Bot's code, design, features, and documentation are protected by copyright. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Bot per these Terms.

You may NOT:

• Copy, modify, or reverse-engineer the Bot
• Create derivative works
• Remove proprietary notices
• Use the Bot's name or branding without permission

Termination

Your Rights:

• Stop using the Bot anytime by removing it from your server
• Request data deletion via our support server

Our Rights: We may suspend or terminate your access immediately for:

• Terms violations
• Abuse or harassment
• Illegal activities
• System exploitation

We may also terminate service without cause (with notice when practical) or for prolonged inactivity.

Dispute Resolution

Before formal action, contact us through our support server for informal resolution. These Terms are governed by applicable laws. Unless prohibited, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis (no class actions).

Miscellaneous

• Severability: If any provision is unenforceable, remaining provisions remain valid
• Entire Agreement: These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the complete agreement
• No Waiver: Our failure to enforce doesn't waive that provision
• Assignment: You cannot assign rights; we may assign to successors
• Force Majeure: We're not liable for failures due to circumstances beyond our control
