Managing Your Channel

Everything you can do once you own a temporary voice channel.

Once you've joined a Join-to-Create channel and gotten your own voice channel, all of these commands are grouped under /voice. You need to be the current owner of the channel to use most of them.

Basics

/voice status statusSet a status message shown on your channel
/voice gameAuto-rename your channel based on what you're currently playing

Privacy & access

/voice lockLock the channel so others can't join without permission
/voice unlockUnlock it again
/voice ghostHide the channel from the channel list
/voice unghostMake it visible again
/voice permitAllow specific users or roles into your locked channel
/voice rejectRevoke access and kick specific users or roles out
/voice invite userPing a user to invite them into your channel

Requesting access

If a channel is locked and you're not on the permit list, you can ask to join:

/voice request channel

This sends a request to the channel owner rather than letting you in automatically.

Ownership

CommandWhat it does
/voice claimClaim an abandoned channel (its original owner has left)
/voice transfer userHand ownership over to someone else in the channel

If your control panel disappears

/voice panel

Resends the interactive control panel to your channel, in case it got scrolled away or accidentally dismissed.
